Last days

well truthfully im sad that we are not gunna be going to school anymore but im also waiting to see what the future has in store for me. I think i might cry on graduation day but we just have to waite and see. The years in school have been fun as well as dreadful but thats just part of learning. Lets see what becomes of all of us. I do wish everybody the best of luck after we graduate. I just will be missing everyone alot=.]. but not to worry hopefully i will get to see you again. Mr. palo by the way i really appriciate you for being a great teacher and not just that for being unique in the way you have taught us. i really have never been in a class where you focus on subjects that i have never taken interest in. thanks for being you and for being a great teacher.=]

This story really caught my attention because its two twin girls stuck to one body. There skulls are fully developed but they share one whole body! Thats amazing and yet sad because they have alot of health problems and they are in a HIGH risk of dieing.Tthe doctors and other people are pitching in to cover the costs of the medical bills. Well its cute to see them wave there little hands from time to time but its sad to know that even though they were brought to this world they might quickly leave it. Its true when people say every one dies but not every one lives. I just hope that they can separate them without having to sacrifise one of the girls. Its the biggest risk and hopefully the doctors will do more then there best to save both girls.

 

 

Seize the day!!

Well after so long now we finally get the project. Im actually loooking forward to doing not only because its about having fun but its abut making the best of every day. Well now the journey begins and i hope the turn out is good. I plan to involve tose people who i hardly talk to anymore and my frinds who are always there for me. this way i can include the old friends and the new. Truthfully i dont know were to beging because i want to do everything thats on the list but i can or can i?? Well ill just have to find out. Well i really like nature so it will be a good excuse to get my mom out of the house not that she might need it but to actually enjoy life. I cant waite for what the future holds and so far it seems promissing.

i thought that it got a little heated because its such a sensitive topic. there really is no solution to the problem because there has always been imigrants for years. now the presidents have tried to fix the problems but all they really do is touch the subject. the only thing i can say is that the presidents should try to help the immigrants instead of harming them.the  immagrants can help the economy and even create jobs.well i do agree with the security needs to be inforced to stop drugs from coming into the country. they shouldnt use terrorists or drug cartels as there excuse for racial profilling. its not right for the officers or other "authorities" to take advantage and just kill inocent people for what they look like.

Another storm and more problems will there be real relief to the victims and how will they survive? The storm left a trail of devastation and distress due to the damages and took at least 11 lives. The tornados created by the storm was more then a lot of the residents could handle.  It is bad because there are still more storms on the way to the south and this might have people evacuated from there homes. It’s sad to see what you have worked so hard for just vanish or be left in a condition that can’t be repaired. Well we just have to hope to god that things get better and try to help in any way possible.

This is a very memorable because even thought his mom isn’t there to be with him he still made her present and tries to keep her present. I found it really sweet and respectful that he gave his future wife the ring that was his mother. It isn’t just a ring it’s an object that has a lot of meaning to it. Well the prince was really close to his mother we just now have to see him begin a new life with his future wife. I think this event is going to be the most watched in the world because it is a big thing to see a royal family in the 20^th century.

The second fire in texas ha died and it was about time its good that now they were able to control the fire. even though they didi control it elias jaquez died after being traped in it. The community is very small so everyone nows eachother and all the famillies miss and cry for there close friend. its sad to know that you can lose someone you see evryday and then from one day to another thay can be gone.

Apology

a lady had to apologize to the president due to a picture she posted. she put the president in a monkey family he was the baby. it was pretty funny but shows how much freedom we have in being able to express yourself haha. well all in all it was funny to see that and it was posted as obamas family.

Test

The test that we took in class was really interesting because it was weird how the questions went from being easy to really difficult. Well in my opinion I thought some of the questions were really ridiculous but then again some or most immigrants don’t know much about this country. So I can understand why they asked those types of questions. Well I do have to admit that I didn’t know some of the questions I’m kind of embarrassed not to know the questions but then again it made me think way back and some of them I had already completely forgot. I just hope that I do get to learn the ones that I don’t know. Well I do feel sad that most people have to take things like this but then again it is noticeable that a lot don’t know much about the country that they are going to be citizens of that state. Well the truth is that if it was difficult for me that I have been in school for 12 years well it must be difficult for them and not just that most people that are born in this country I’m sure would fail the test themselves.

Well at the nickelodeon’s 24^th annual kids choice award Fergie wore this funky dress. I thought it was pretty interesting and thought it was really cool it makes me want one of those dresses. It was very interesting to see a dress so unique like that. I didn’t think someone could wear Legos. Well not only can you build with Legos you can also wear them. It makes me wonder what else you can make with Legos because the responsibilities are endless. Who could have imagined that with Legos not only kids play but adults wear and also enjoy building with them? This was really interesting to and funny in a way.

Well after a good spring break I had to wake up early to good to the competition and even though we got things done we were really unorganized. This taught me a lesson that if I want to be the best at something it takes more than just knowing the routine it takes time and effort all in one. As well as being well prepared. Now I will have to prepare for the business presentation and do more than good I want to do AMAZING hehe. Now to get things straight and to make sure that I use my time wisely. wish me luck.

Spring Break

It was great to have a week off I needed it but now that schools starts again well it’s hectic. Well now to get back on track. I need to get back on to doing the work and need to try to make time for everything that comes my way. Well I can’t complain because it was fun all in all now on with life again. I also have the business presentation that I have to prepare for and it was a big disappointment to have had not such a good trade fair. I know that we can do much better then we did this time being unprepared really hurt use as a whole but we will get back on track.

If I were to win I think I would first help my mom with bills and then give her money so she could spend and give some to my family and then I would spend some and finally the rest I would invest.  The chances are 1 in a hundred to get the numbers but I guess its possible right? A pilot died on Saturday when the Russian fighter plane got out of its formation and plummeted to the ground. Nobody else was injured but tragically the pilot did not survive, his name has not been released yet to the public. Well this just makes me think you can be as trained and professional as ever but you can’t escape death and its crazy how you can be here one day and be gone the next. I know this by experience that it’s a scary thing to be put in a situation where you almost lose your life but unfortunately for the pilot he wasn’t so lucky I just give my regards. The air shows will continue on Sunday but I think that they should have a little more consideration to cancel the show and show some respect.

Well if we took the incentive away from being money and made it into self motivation (just for fun) we can make this world a little bit better. Well for example bill gates he turned something that he liked into something that changed the world for the better and he did it just for fun! Now if we all did things that we liked to enhance those skills this world would change little by little. I do believe if we focused on what we are most fond of we can excel on that subject of matter and maybe make it useful not only for our personal use but for the well being of others. a reporter almost got run over by a van. he was reporting after a game in san diego and the driver didnt see him when he was backing up but he was able to move out of the way. he was safe and sound  now thAT teaches us a lesson to report from the side walk and not the street or behind any car. well i though this was funny because a car is a car and it can hurt you either way hehe. the reporter will hopefully be reporting on the next san diego game and hopefully this time from the sidewalk hehe.

well this class descussion was good even though we didnt have that many people the outcome was still good. i thought that the solutions that were presented were really good. in this descussion alot of the subjects were covered but we just scratched the surface of the problems. well i do agree with what my class mates said that we have to change and we need to take action but what can we do? how can we take action? it takes more than a class to change the world but we can capture attention to make a revloution an from then on just let it flow. well after i watched the videos it was a real eye opener because not only are we cheating ourselves but every one in this country. our success trigers growth and as long as we thrive we can change and fix not only the little problems but over pass the bigger ones. i really appriciate the fact that i was given a chance to look at the world in a different view. now that i saw that the education is not at the highest level i do want to change it for the better not only for my benefit but for the future generations that should prosper and become the best. i have also talked to my friends and asked them about what they think about our education system and i quote, "it sucks" according to most either they havent learned anything or dont want to because they have nobopdy to push them and show them what they can become and what the world offers them. well i feel sad to know that most dont know what they will do in life but i think its because they havent been shown them what the world and life itself can teach them to the point of greatness.

Well I was looking for something that would cheer up my day and this just made it better. Well it’s true the parents now have gone to soft on their kids they lecture them instead of giving them a good spank I don’t mean kill them or abuse but 2 or 3 spanks in the butt won’t hurt them on contrary it will straighten them up to be better. When I read this post it made me realize of what I see when I’m in public I see  parents talking to their kids instead of spanking them for going out of line or putting their own life in danger. I wonder why can’t they just give them a lesson and do what’s best for their kids. If they really cared they wouldn’t bore the kid but they would spank them just to straighten them up. Seriously if talking to them the first time didn’t work them what makes you think the 500^th time would? Well all in all we are in the 20^th century right?

Well we all know what has happened in Japan but even though there are still a lot of kayos we can say that miracles do happen. For example, this Japanese girl who came here to study and was completely in the dark when it came to knowing how her family was. A lot of questions must have passed her mind and just imagine how she felt. Well on Sunday she got the news of her family she was told that her sister sent her a message and she tried to look for it but couldn’t find it after an excruciating Waite she finally got a message on Monday. She got the link and was able to obtain the video of her sister telling her she was ok. She couldn’t help but shed some tears of happiness over the video. Well this just proves that family is important and she is a little more relaxed to know that her sister is alive but her worries aren’t  over she still is worried about her grandparents and parents.

        Wow I didn’t think someone would live to be that old it makes me wonder can we get to be 300 years old??? I would like to see that happen but now a day’s it’s hard for us to even get to 80. Well it can be done. I found it very nice for genus world record to give her a prize. Well even though she is old I think that it’s a big deal to live that long.She is 114 years old and still living hopefully she breaks her own record.

Education

        Hahaha I thought this was funny because now it is true before the parents made sure that their children did good and now the parents blame the teachers even though some are to blame others aren’t. It’s all up to the student to put the effort in school and make sure that we are in the right path to graduate. As well as the parents job to make sure that the homework gets done and they need to be a little bit stricter.

       I do understand why we have unions, to protect the rights of the workers and to ensure that they are not being mistreated or over worked. There has to be a limit to how they are protected. For example some teachers can’t be fired at all and if the teacher abuses a student or might not teach well they can’t be fired. So where do we put a stop to the unions for the good and not for the bad something that will benefit all of us instead of hurting us.

        Everyone is shocked to hear that this family has been destroyed by a fire that took the life of six girls and a boy. Only one of their children survived and was the one who alerted the mother of the house being on fire. She did not imagine that she would lose her children almost all together at the same time. Now the community and the parents are still in shock and even though everyone is offering the family help they turn it down. So now what can you do in a situation like that? Losing most of your family in a blink of an eye?

San Francisco

My trip to San Francisco was amazing we went to the golden gate and we also spent time at pier 39.  It was such a great day I really enjoyed the trip and the competition was also a great thing we set 3^rd place in salesmanship=] I was really glad that we did such a great job. Even thought I wish we had also won a prize for the best and most creative booth but it didn’t turn out the way we wanted it to.  Even though we didn’t get everything we wanted it was a great experience and fun as well. Now I’m looking forward to our next trade fair. This keeps me going and pushes me to do better. Hopefully we do better in the next one and we do need to improve in some areas and have more people go because that is a great opportunity for us as a team.

A Miami-Dade mother said her son's teacher made a big mistake ridiculing her son, but the district said there was an explanation for what happened to her son at W.J. Bryan Elementary School. Wow now the teachers are even embarrassing the students how sad. I understand that the kid might have been behaving bad but no need to embarrass him in that way. He was told to put on a note so that the note was sure to get home but I think that’s a little too over the board. I understand that it might have taught the 7 year old kid a lesson but the mother was furious and wanted an explanation or even a apology.

    What happens to a lake that is hit by forest fires and floods? Well in Australia some lakes started to glow in a spectacular sparkling sort of way. I never thought that it was possible for a lake to glow; this really caught my attention because I have never heard of such a thing. Well all in all I was surprised and it proves that life has its wonderful surprises.

Today in class mr. Palo did a lil test and it made me realize that we are being limited to our creativity. i only get creative when im given the chance like in a project or when im bored. why cant we use other forms to be creative and let my/our imagination flow and learn in fun ways. i want to be able to break that daily schedule and i also wanna be more free. i feel like i failed myself in so many ways because i was enthusiastic and now i could care less. how did this happen? that question keeps playing in my head over and over again. now how can i make a difference?

"Education"

Well in class we watched “stupid in America” it made me realize that we are following an old system. The way we have vacation was for farming and now in the 20^th century we don’t take time to help and to that. So why do we still do it? Well that’s not the only problem we have teachers who aren’t even enthusiastic about their job there just in it for the money. We have been cheated for years because we are taught the bare minimum to pass the class but not to succeed in life.

     Wow i can’t believe that the bills for water are as much as paying for a mortgage and its just water. I found this to be outrageous because water is everywhere and it important but this person wasn’t even over using her water. Just like every person we all need water for mostly everything cooking, drinking, and so on. I’m thinking that maybe the meter was broken but she should look into that because it is not fair to pay so much for water. This is an interesting eye opener because it makes you doubt if you are getting charged fairly or if the meter is broken or if they are charging you more than is needed.

 Its sad how now the animals have to fight for theyre habitat now. Why cant we make a balance between there home and ours we keep building houses that nobody even uses or lives in. we even burn forests for new constructions and businesses but why cant we tear down old ones and built new there? well this animal is endangered and i find it really sad.

"Class discussion"

Well I think in this class discussion I did bad and it got more heated then the last one. I think it’s because of the subject, since it has to do with religion. Even though in this country we have the right to our freedom of religion we are still trying to stop the construction of the mosque. We are contradicting ourselves by not allowing them to do so. I understand that this will affect the families of those whose lives were lost but we shouldn’t think of this as a slap in the ace we should try and learn from them. Just as I said in class people are afraid of what they don’t know and therefore reject anything different or things they have little knowledge of. In the end I stayed in the middle I don’t favor or am against it because there are so many reasons but I think that we should let it happen. Well hopefully next class discussion I do better than this past one.

12.   Family- It’s an important thing for people to be healthy so they can help their family and expand for a better future.

13.   Health- we should have the health care reform because it will help thousands of Americans and give relief to those who are in the point of bankruptcy due to medical payments. President Obama stated that, “he is not willing to go back to the days where insurance company could deny coverage to those with preexisting conditions”.

14.   Responsibility- we want to take responsibility for what we want we can’t expect everything to happen for us just because.

15.   Future- we should try to build a better future not only for use but for other generations.

16.   Progress- I admire what the president did because he not only took action he actually made it work.

17.   Action- most of the other presidents have tried to doo what Obama did but never accomplished it so I think we are a step further.

18.   Kids- Obama said that we should have a race to educate our kids. This is due to the lack/low rate of graduates.

19.   Affordable- the health care made it affordable for everyone to be covered and gave assistance to those who can’t care for themselves.

20.   A step- was taken to change and progress, like the astronaut said when he first stepped on the moon, “it’s a small step for man but a big leap for human kind”.

21.   Hope – I hope that the future only bring more good change and less negativity for all of us.

22.   Obstacles- there is a lot of debate and even a repealing about the health care reform. I don’t understand why if this will help us and I know that there are flaws but it will take time to fix it.

23.   Economy- the economy is getting back on track but like the president said we measure progress by the success of our people.

24.   Moving forward – I think that instead of seeing the bad side of the reform we should start appreciating the good that is has done and progress from that point on to improve on it even further.

25.   Challenges- we have all faced hardships and we have gone through difficult moments but we have always come out and grew stronger from each downfall.

26.   Strength- we have always been a strong country and have always been able to build on to what we haven’t accomplishes.

27.   Achievement- thanks to the freedom that this country offers we have been able to get to where we stand and we have become the nation to which others ask for help.

28.   Prosper- we should have faith in the fact that what we do cannot hurt us but make us even more genuine.

29.   Race- there has been a race going on to educate the next generation and to beat other countries in that area. We have the best colleges and yet other countries are doing better.

30.    Innovation- We are the nation that sparks the creativity and imagination of our people. We are the nation of Edison and the Wright brothers, goggle and Facebook innovation is how we make our living.

31.   Dream- for having so much freedom we have been able o create things that are unimaginable like bill gates who became a billionaire after letting his imagination run and creating Microsoft.

32.   Troops- in happy to hear that the troops are coming back I miss my friend and wish to see him so as well as his family.

33.   Serve- Obama said that from now on nobody will be denied the right to serve their country because of who the love.

34.   Country- finally there is a lot of talk of future and dreams but now we need to see and take action.

35.   Parents- should help by making sure the homework gets done and that the TV is turned off.

36.   Invest- we have to start investing not only in our future but as well as in others to help others as well as ourselves because in the end we all benefit.

37.   Opportunity – there are opportunities being created each and every day now we just have to move and take them encourage competition.

38.   Success – our success is based on our innovation and willingness to succeed.

39.   Generation- the nest generation hopefully will see and understand that we can change the world and Have the power to do so.

40.   Tax- the taxes should be raise but it will benefit is and it might hurt others but it has to be done.

42.   Teachers- the help in a big way and we should reward the good ones and stop making excuses for the bad ones as the president said.

The world has changed and the competition for jobs is real this shouldn’t discourage us it should challenge us and remember for all the hits we have taken America still has the most prosperous economy in the world.

A baby is clinging to his life after being abandoned in an arena toilet. The baby was found after being born an hour or so. The police said that the baby boy was found by a custodian after a Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey performance. The custodian herd whimpering and crying from the bathroom so he discovered the baby in the toilet and was rushed to the hospital. Nobody knew who the mother was or if she was in good conditions. It was a mystery. When the mother was found she said she had no idea that she was pregnant or that she had given birth that night. She told authorities that she had been feeling bad so she went to the bathroom and that was it. I think it’s sad because how do you abandon a baby especially a new born baby.

The super bowl was ok I thought that a lot of the so called professionals messed up. For example Christina Aguilera who forgot the national anthem in front of millions of viewers. I do understand that she might have been nervous but she shouldn’t have repeated the same line or forgot one. There was also a “technical difficulty” at the beginning of the black eyed peas performance; I was surprised because they delivered a message to president Obama about the education. I didn’t expect it and I’m sure nobody else did either. I do give them props for that because they are at least informed. all in all i thought that the entertainment could have been better.

Nine years in prison for attack on Danish cartoonist

Wow! That’s all I can say some man attacks a cartoonist because he draws a cartoon of a Muslim prophet Mohammed wearing a bomb-shaped turban. Now a day’s people can’t take a joke or even take things to seriously. This man was just simply doing his job and there is someone trying to kill him? Glee was the attacker he was convicted Thursday of attempted terrorism, attempted manslaughter and attacking a police officer with a knife and an ax, according to prosecutors. He tried to break into the house, he broke a window which set the alarm to go off and this is what alerted the police. The police shot glee in the hand and leg. He was sentenced to nine years in prison and expelled from Denmark when he gets out of prison. That’s crazy but life is life and people take things in the worst way possible.

According to the police the motorist told police that the driver of a pickup truck was tailgating him so he delivered a non verbal hand gesture to the driver of the pickup truck later determined to be Haynesworth. The motorist said that when they stopped at a red light Haynesworth got out and they exchanged a couple of words before he threw a punch. The motorist later went to a hospital for minor injuries. I think he just wants to get attention and be noticed or get money. They should punch him again hehe. jk =]

Life

The crazy thing about life is that when you least expect it bad things or good things can happen. Even in a blink of an eye you can win or lose someone. Life is not a matter of milestones, but of moments. Never take someone for granted. Hold every person close to your heart because you might wake up one day and realize that you’ve lost a diamond while you were too busy collecting stones. We must all remember that what appears to be the end is just a new beginning.

Healthcare Discussion Response

I was impressed in the different metaphors that people used. They were really weird but got there point straight across. I didn’t expect for people to actually be really involved in the discussion or for people to even get a little fired up. Even thought we did get off track and talked about the war and other subjects that had nothing to do with wealth care even though in a way it was tied in. I thought that the discussion all in all was good and even though I was shy  at first it was good to see others trying as well. I have to admit that I don’t really want another class discussion because I feel a little shy but I have to do what I got to do he he.

Had rat poison & pellets

                A backpack bomb was discovered last week along the Martin Luther King Jr. parade that was going to take place that day. The backpack also contained rat poison and pellets. Even though no threat was made before the device was found. It was discovered by three parade workers. They found the gray backpack on the bench and later discovered that it contained the bomb as well as pellets and two shirts. I can’t help but ask, “Are people so cruel and cold hearted that they hate some human being so much that they want to end their lives”? How can anyone have the right to deny someone the right to live and enjoy life?

I can’t stop thinking about the fact that we are doing bad in our education and that it isn’t the schools or teachers fault. Well at least not all their fault; the parents are the ones who have to help. Like the president said in the state of the union, “the parents are the ones who have to make sure that the TV is turned off and that the HW is getting done. Even though there are those cases where there are bad teachers who don’t know how to teach or just plain and simply hate their job. We need to reward good teachers and stop making excuses for bad ones. I think that if we all put our efforts in making our schools better we can change the world. Take into consideration that we are the future of this country and maybe even the world.

State of Union

Obama delivers state of union

           The president addressed a lot of issues that I didn’t expect him to cover or even mention. He talked about health care, immigration, education and the future. He made a lot of great points. I especially liked when he said, “we will move forward together or not at all”. It’s not just about sitting together it’s about working together even though they may disagree. President John Kennedy was lofty in his appeal: "Together let us explore the stars, conquer the deserts, eradicate disease, and tap the ocean depths. When people start working together they can accomplish great things, like things that are impossible become possible to reach or even surpass. The thing about this country is that it allows us to dream and believe that we can. That’s why we surpassed the Germans and reached the moon before anyone else. Even though he gave his speech and talked about the plans for the future how will he accomplish everything that he has promised because everything takes time and effort?

14-year-old creates 'Bubble Ball,' iTunes' most popular free app

I was shocked to know about a 14 yr old kid who created the most popular app. His name is Robert Nay, and he's an 8th grader in Spanish Fork, Utah.  He created the bubble ball and it’s in first place for the most popular free apps. It even beat “Angry Birds” which is in second place.The irony is that while other kids are playing games he’s creating them and right now he is in the process of making another one. Another fact not shocking at all was that he used a public library to help him with his making of the game and to do the work necessary to create it. Nay's app consists of a series of puzzles where players have to guide a ball through courses that they manipulate and it was downloaded a million times in its first two weeks. I was impressed and this reminded me that if you set your mind to do something you can accomplish anything in this life.
